Learn All About This Critical New Role!
Over the next few weeks we'll explore the agenda topics and re-cap the speakers, keynotes, and panels for each day. On both days, I will deliver the opening keynote on "The Chief AI Officer Talent Map," the first-ever deep dive into this critically important new title.
Every day we get the same questions from journalists, the media, and fellow CDAOs - they all want to know who these CAIOs are, what they are responsible for, where they are located, their backgrounds/skills, and how to get one - or become one!
Based on over one year of research, my opening keynote will explore the Chief AI Officer title in depth, including a look at some of the leaders who hold the title, the organizations they work for, compensation, key responsibilities, reporting structure, headcount, budget, previous work experience, and other demographic data including age, gender, region, sector, tenure, etc.
During my session, we will review open Chief AI Officer roles at major organizations, explore sample Chief AI Officer Job Descriptions (JDs), and even collaborate live with speakers and delegates on improving and refining the JDs so they are appropriate for various different sectors.
The CAIO Talent Map is intended for C-suite and Board-level AI, digital/data/analytics executives and leaders in HR, Strategy, IT, Marketing, Sales, and Business Development, as well as Executive Recruiters, Compensation Directors, and industry analysts, journalists, and researchers.
Background: As many of you know, ten years ago on February 28, 2013 at the inaugural NYC CDO Summit I keynoted on the world's first-ever "Chief Digital Officer Talent Map," which covered key CDO demographic data, new hires, compensation, career path, reporting structures, and open jobs.
The Talent Map provided detailed information on global CDOs – which sectors were hiring; competitive salary information; and statistics on geographic distribution, gender, education, age, and race.
