Thomas Gensemer was named Chief Strategy Officer of WPP’s Burson- Marsteller in 2013. He is the former CEO of Blue State Digital, a role he held since the firm’s founding in 2004 until 2013, including the firm’s acquisition by WPP in 2010. His notable work has included political and global NGO campaigns, as well as a diverse set of corporate brands including Ford, Unilever, Nestle, Accenture, Intel and more. Thomas was featured in the 2012 book “Pioneers of Digital” and has been honored by Crains Business and AdAge’s “40 Under 40″ lists in 2012 and 2013 respectively. He is a frequent commentator on Bloomberg and The Huffington Post.
