NEW YORK, NY August 22, 2013 It continues to be a scorching summer for Chief Digital Officer hires. Over 190 have been hired globally since January 1, 2013.

The most recent high-profile addition to the Chief Digital Officer club is Sharon Feder, who is now CDO at Watch Entertainment, the parent company for all brand operations of Rachael Ray.

Sharon is the former Chief Operating Officer at Mashable, where she oversaw business operations and played a key role in building the company’s editorial, community, and HR departments.

As a foodie and dog lover this is a dream job. I was really drawn to this position because of the breadth of Rachael’s portfolio — from media properties to books, nonprofit initiatives focused on childhood nutrition and animal rescue, successful TV shows and more — and the incredible community she and her team have cultivated over the years.
